It's another week which means another awesome free game from the Epic Games Store. This week, the free game being offered is ARK: Survival Evolved by Studio Wildcard. Even though it's free, it is still important to ensure your PC can run ARK: Survival Evolved because it still has at least a 60 GB download to be concerned about. In this game, you play as a survivor on a mysterious island that is inhabited by a variety of dangerous creatures, including dinosaurs. You must learn to survive in this hostile environment either on your own or on a server with large amounts of other players. It is similar to Conan Exiles. If you want to run ARK: Survival Evolved on your computer, you will need to pass the system requirements test.

If your PC can pass the minimum system requirements test for ARK: Survival Evolved, then you should be able to run it on at least low-medium graphics with a solid FPS. The system requirements are a little lower than Red Dead Redemption 2 so a lot of computers and laptops have a good chance of running it. Your video card should be at least a GeForce GTX 670 or a Radeon HD 7870 with 2 GB of VRAM. In your CPU slot, you need to have at least an Intel Core i5-2400 or an AMD FX-8320. In contrast to the lack of jump in the video card department, the recommended CPU is much higher than the minimum. Some come with less meat but offer chitin to forge new weapons, while others grant players essential medical chemicals. How you hunt them, and how you bring them down is entirely up to you, as is the task of uncovering which biome is home to the beast you need at the time. While other games like Ark will certainly off you tips on how to progress forwards, many lessons can only be taught via a trial by fire. The same goes with many tools and how to construct them, as many appear at first to be the sort of thing you can only steal. Yet, there is a trick to constructing each one, and finding the right parts will often leave you scouring the land for any sign of the right pieces.Your progress might be slow at first. You might die time and time again trying to master a single task, or even find yourself questioning your very plan of attack. Yet, despite this, games like Ark: Survival Evolved succeed by always keeping your reward in sight. You always know that there is something worthwhile awaiting you at the end of this all, and that it can be achieved with enough time and effort.
